I think you can only go red unless you bleach those highlights. Dark hair, especially Indian hair have natural red tones. Going with any other olour could be an uneven disaster.

a med golden brown carmel or rich wine colors you can put a bit of blonde but not much , add 3 colors in it have ur stylist use a wine red in one foil the a goldne blonde in next foil the a med brown altenate them with mostly the darker colors just bewcause you have black hair doent mean you cant have a few blonde, have your stylist use 40 or the best 50v devoper if they have it i use it on dark hair all the time

It really depends what you are wanting the highlights for, to make you stand out in a crowd, or ones that look natural or ones that look awesome. I think that there is sum site that you can stick your pick on and change the hair colour. Im pretty sure that it is English, but you have to pay for it. You could use it to try different combinations.
