Yes. Try a color that wasn't as harsh as your highlights. Then you can begin to nurse your hair back to normal.

Yes because some colors don't contain peroxide or that other chemical that I can't think of. I used to highlight my hair but I'm back to all over color and I like it much better. My hair looks much shinier and healthier. I have very dark hair so I'm doing an auburn color. I chose auburn because of my skin tone.
